If you are searching for a home where you can enjoy a “small town” atmosphere and pride in community, Bay Minette/North Baldwin should be your choice.  Our area is comprised of the county seat (Bay Minette) and several surrounding communities:  Blackshire, Bromley, Crossroads, Latham, Little River, Lottie, Perdido, Phillipsville, Pine Grove, Stapleton, Stockton,  Tensaw and Whitehouse Forks.

Bay Minette has a population of approximately 8,000.  Over the past five years, Bay Minette has undergone a “metamorphosis” (for lack of a better word).  Our city has implemented a landscape plan in the downtown area, bricked sidewalks, renovated older buildings and constructed a new  state-of-the-art city government complex with a multi-purpose civic center. It looks wonderful! 

Our area offers scenic rivers and serene woodlands for all types of outdoor activities. In addition, Bay Minette is the “Gateway” to Gulf Shores and pearl-white sandy beaches. We are located close enough to Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida (40 and 50 miles respectively) to enjoy almost any other form of entertainment you can think of.     

The broad  geographic area covered by north Baldwin County supports many activities including organized youth sports (baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and rodeo), activities organized by the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, volunteer service organizations, hunting clubs, and church organized activities.

 The people here are very friendly (sorry, but there are a few cranky people everywhere!).  We also have a broad opportunity for employment through several local industries, retail and service businesses.
